SAGE Profile 3D

SAGE Profile 3D is SAGE Profile next generation software! This new software is extending its capabilities by working fully in 3D.

In SAGE Profile 3D, the pipeline is directly laid onto a 3D seabed with the assistance of Digital Terrain Modelling (DTM) technique. The pipeline route can be defined in the Editor and it allows to iterate in order to optimise the route selection.

Once the pipeline has been laid, the new computational engine can perform full 3D pipeline analyses (e.g. lateral snaking/buckling…), modelling the pipeline-soil interaction more accurately by the use of advanced soil spring. Ultimately, all the features available in SAGE Profile V6.3 will be implemented in the 3D version.
