SP2D V6.4 release notes:
- PipeNet Engine:
- Increase of the maximum model size to 50,000 nodes; it allows to analyse in one go e.g. 200km of pipeline with a node spacing of 4m,
- Improvement of the screen output during the FE analysis.
- Code & Span checks:
- Implementation of the following new code checks:
- API RF 11.11, including the ASME31.4 and ASME31.8 checks,
- PD 8010,
- Major overhaul of DNV OS F101 code check:
- User can now define more safety factors manually,
- A waterfilled code check is now allowed,
- Update of the DNV RP-F105 rules to the February 2006 issue,
- Code and span check results can be displayed in the viewer,
- Code and span checks can be run on temporary seabed.
- SAGE Profile Editor:
- Possibility of defining Global Restraints,
- Update of the Ramberg Osgood parameters selection window,
- Improved input flexibility: Temperature profiles do not interfere with defined pipe property ranges anymore.
- Main Interface:
- A License Manager now allows to select the required network dongle from within the interface.
- Analysis Type Window:
- Improved handling of analyses that do not complete successfully due to convergence problem.
- Rectifier:
- Cut and fill summary of seabed rectifications now saved per analysis,
- A new Cut and Fill Summary Window displays detailed summary in Viewer,
- Rectification of seabed more straight forward: a "snap to seabed node" functionality indicates where seabed rectification points can be inserted.
- Advanced Viewer:
- Code and Span check results can now be opened in Viewer,
- Easier code and span check verification: conditional colouring of output results indicates which nodes in code and span check pass/fail a specific check,
- Important bug fix that could lead to a shift in bending strain when using overlap.
- SAGE Buckle:
- Viewing and printing of NDL files is now possible,
- Output file now clearly indicates that no features were found.
- Many other incremental improvements indicated to us by our AMTS users.
